Terms and Conditions

By submitting this application you acknowledge and agree to participate in the WORDS
ACROSS EUROPE programme according to the terms and conditions outlined below.
• Compensation: All selected participants will receive a token of appreciation payment of
€1,000 payable on successful completion programme. This compensation is designed to
be a recognition of your contribution and dedication to this collaborative writing
programme.
• Programme Commitment: Participants are expected to actively engage in group
discussions, share ideas and feedback, adhere to all guidelines and collaborate
effectively with fellow writers throughout the programme’s duration.
• Intellectual Property: Any content created during the programme, including ideas,
concepts and outlines will be considered collaborative and will not grant exclusive rights
to any individual participant.
• Equipment: Participants will be provided with VR/AR headsets to enable participation in
virtual sessions. These headsets will be provided to each participant at the beginning of
the programme. WAE will cover shipping costs for sending and receiving the headsets.
Participants agree to use the provided equipment responsibly and to return it in good
condition at the end of the programme. Failure to return the equipment or to return it in
good condition will result in forfeiture of compensation.
• Confidentiality: Participants agree not to share confidential programme materials,
discussions or any information about fellow participants or programme organisers
without their explicit consent.
• Cancellation and Withdrawal: If for any reason you need to withdraw from the
programme upon acceptance, you are expected to inform WAE as soon as possible.
• Disputes and Amendments: Any disputes arising from or in connection with the
programme will be subject to the laws of the European Union. We reserve the right to
modify or amend any terms and conditions. Changes to these terms and conditions will
be communicated to participants.
• Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional
demeanour throughout the programme. Any discriminatory, offensive, or disrespectful
behaviour will result in dismissal from the programme with a resultant forfeiture of
compensation.
• Application Review: Submission of your application does not guarantee participation.
Participants will be selected based on the criteria outlined in the application form.
