Writers Pitch Their Projects for Development

As part of Phase 2, our nine European writers will each have the thrilling opportunity to present and pitch their own projects for further development in the writers’ room. Each writer will showcase their project, and through an open vote (where no one can vote for their own project), the three best projects will be selected.

These chosen projects will then be assigned to three newly assembled writers’ rooms, where they will be collaboratively developed. This will be an incredible learning experience for the writers, many of whom may not have previously seen their concepts receive direct input from other writers, especially those from different European countries.

For the writers whose projects are not selected, it will be a unique experience to work on a project that is not their own but to still give it their best effort. This process is designed to foster good collaboration, achieve the best results, and encourage writers to leave their egos at the door. This spirit of collaboration and mutual support is at the heart of our programme.
