The selected participants have been provided with VR headsets and have begun watching a predetermined series. They will analyse it and develop an additional season as a writing exercise within the program. Over the next 9 weeks the participants will be divided into three writers’ rooms to create one project per writer’s room. They will be guided through the writers’ room process and the complexities of the international series market and will be provided with a deep understanding of the broader industry landscape and given the knowledge and confidence to navigate successful series writing for television.
